He is often compared to contemporaries Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine, and the late Elliott Smith, not only for his unique style and skill in writing and proclivity to deal with substantive and evocative subject matter, but also for his use of organic and colorful melodies and arrangements. His first two records were completely self-produced and his new album, "The Sparrow And The Crow," produced by Marshall Altman at Galt Line Studios in Los Angeles, is his first studio recorded work. While his lyricism deals often with darker undertones (his most recent album is said to have been written following his own divorce), a measure of hopefulness is always carefully blended in. Even with his short tenure as a songwriter, William has already received mention in noted publications such as Billboard, Paste Magazine, and Performing Songwriter Magazine, and his music has been featured on several television programs such as "Grey's Anatomy" and "Army Wives." www.williamfitzsimmons.com www.rosigolan.com

Welcome Havens back to the Acorn His last show was a sellout. He has one of the most recognizable voices in pop music. His fiery, soulful style is as unique and ageless as his 1969 Woodstock appearance. His music conveys passionate messages of brotherhood and freedom. Havens joined John Legend, The Roots, Joss Stone, Wyclef Jean, and other luminary musicians on the soundtrack for A Revolution, a recent documentary of the Civil Rights Movement. Everything Mustard's Retreat does on a stage is aimed at pleasing, moving and engaging their audience. Whether singing their own gentle love songs and vivid ballads, telling tall tales or offering treasures from America's vast traditional song bag, a Mustard's Retreat show always feels like it's designed for the people who have come to see them that day, in that coffeehouse, school, concert hall or festival.

Unashamed to bare their souls, the Sweat Girls display an easy familiarity that makes their stories intensely human. No matter what the material, these witty and intelligent women consistently amuse and provoke through their invigorating styles says the Chicago Sun Times. While their work is autobiographical and rooted in the monologue form, they stretch solo performance beyond its traditional structure by collaborating with other artists and filmmakers, musicians, choreographers, and visual artists. In order to give their audiences a multitude of ways to connect with each story. Whatever form each Sweat Girl production takes, they try never to lose what is essential to their style what Chicagos New City called their emotional power, heartfelt comedy and strong bonding with the audience.
