the Harbor Country Lodging Association
(HCLA)
The HCLA is a member organization of Harbor Country lodging establishments
formed under the State of Michigan’s Public Act 59 (P.A. 59) of
1984. The HCLA assesses and collects lodging revenues for the promotion
and support of tourism and tourism marketing programs in and around the
official Harbor Country® region of southwestern Lower Michigan.
The HCLA operates via its own by-laws and Board of Directors and acts
as an official partner, along with the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce,
under a Joint Operating Agreement. Listings displayed on the Online Availability
