About the Harbor Country Convention & Visitors Bureau (HCCVB)

The HCCVB (formerly the Harbor Country Lodging Association) is a non-profit organization formed under the State of Michigan’s Public Act 59 (P.A. 59) of 1984. Our members include hotels, motels, resorts, B&Bs, and vacation property management companies. The HCCVB assesses and collects lodging revenues that are used to promote its members and Harbor Country® as a major destination for tourism and conventions in southwest Michigan. Major marketing programs include partnerships with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation for the Pure Michigan advertising campaigns and Beachtowns® -- a partnership with nine CVBs along Lake Michigan.

The HCCVB operates a Visitors Center in downtown New Buffalo that is open seven days a week Memorial Day through Labor Day. To check available lodging in the area, call the Visitors Center at 800-362-7251 or check the online availability calendar at www.VisitHarborCountry.org
