Wendy Wilcox Kermin is an award-winning artist and lifelong resident of the Michiana area. Currently, focusing her talent on capturing the natural beauty of Harbor Country and beyond, she has also worked in the graphic arts and is an accomplished portrait artist. Kermin has developed an impressionistic style which incorporates a mixture of watercolor and pastel. The dunes, woodland scenes, Lake Michigan lighthouse paintings seem to come alive with vibrant color and rich texture. The artist feels that in this high-tech world it is important to stay spiritually grounded in God’s landscape. Her paintings provide her with a serene, peaceful and inspirational experience. Kermin’s paintings are on display all year at her studio and at Local Color Gallery in Union Pier, Michigan.
