to Posters Page Ray Reip Avid amateur photographer Ray Reip has loved photography almost as long as he has been coming to Harbor Country. Starting with early childhood visits to his grandfather’s summer cottage, he spent weekends here throughout his lifetime before retiring to Sawyer with his wife in 1989. His interest in photography surfaced with shooting for his high school newspaper and he has been graphically documenting the beauty of Harbor Country ever since. The photographer’s creativity has been evidenced throughout his life as he holds 20 patents on inventions he developed during his career as a mechanical development engineer. As a member of the Twin Cities Camera Club, Mr. Reip keeps busy producing photos for the group’s monthly and annual competitions and has received several awards for his work. The Habor Country Guide has selected many of Mr. Reip’s contributed photos for publication over the years and is delighted to have him as the artist for our first photographic cover in recent history |
