Susan Spero received her formal training at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, IL. Her work has received numerous awards, including the Gold and Bronze Medals from the Palette and Chisel Academy. Susan paints primarily in oils, and prefers working outdoors, near Lake Michigan and the sand dunes, where she’s painted and studied with many artists, including Charles Vickery. Her work is currently exhibited in the Clipper Ship Gallery, New Buffalo, The Talisman Gallery, Oklahoma, and the Old Cook Inlet Book Shop and Gallery, in Homer, Alaska.
