9-11 MEMORIAL – NEW BUFFALO TOWNSHIP PARK
A 1,450 lb. eight foot beam from Ground Zero, New York City is incorporated into the sculpture centerpiece in remembrance of the men, women and children killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.

A stroll among the vendors is a new discovery each week, whether one is searching for the freshest herb for a new recipe, cut flowers for a table arrangement, coffee, organic produce, cheeses, pastries, breads, Italian sausages, hand-trimmed restaurant-grade beef, meat rubs, jams, jellies, salsas, art, jewelry, clothing and more. The market is varied and changes weekly. Held at Skip’s Restaurant parking area, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm, rain or shine. Mid-May to mid-October.
WARREN WOODS STATE PARK
You’ll pass thru this tunnel of color splashed trees twice on the Fall Motor Tour. One of the finest remnants of a Great Lakes virgin forest following the meandering Galien River. Follow a little hike to a suspension river bridge – a well known birding spot. Loop off Elm Valley Road features picnic tables and rest area.
WARREN DUNES STATE PARK
Covering 1,950 acres, the park offers hiking, camping with a towering sand dune rising 260 foot above Lake Michigan. Public beach and dog beach.
